Ontario, near Columbus/Fairbanks. Lunch. Chicken fajita bol: delicious.

Ordered online, ready on time (maybe early). Kinda skimped on the rice and veggies ... maybe on everything, the bowl was awfully empty.

St. Clair near Ohio(?). Spinach salad w/ warm bacon dressing (and mushroom and boiled egg): OK. 14-oz. dry-aged sirloin, medium-rare/medium: very good. Special veggie of the day (fresh corn off the cob with poblano peppers): delicious.

Cosi

Clark, near Washington. Lunch. Some kind of lime/guacamole chicken and tomato sandwich: delicious.

Damen/Pierce. Dinner, take-out. Gyoza: delicious. Pad thai w/ chicken: delicious.

Why do they always run out of Vietnamese spring rolls? :-(

Blind Faith Cafe

Dempster/Chicago, Evanston. Lunch: Mongolian seitan stirfry: delicious again.

Asked for fast service, so we could buy the car, and we got very fast service.

Ontario, near Columbus/Fairbanks. Dinner. Veggie samosa: very good, very hot. Garlic naan: very good. Chicken tikki masala: pretty good, spiciness built up. Aloo gobi: not bad.

Fast meal as always. Perfect for rushing to the AMC River East.

Lake, near Wells. Lunch. Bacon burger w/ Swiss, well done: very good. Curly fries: very good. $13 w/ tip. Worth going back.

Northwest Hwy. Dinner. Spring rolls w/ shrimp: very good. Chicken w/ spicy garlic sauce: good, pretty spicy, sauce not goopy. Shrimp, chicken, and pork, w/ veggies, over fried rice noodles: very good.

Hong Kong Bay

Wells, south of North. Dinner. Hamachi: very good, maybe weirdly dry. Tuna: very good, maybe weirdly dry. Egg rolls: revolting, pate-like stuffing. Kung pao chicken: good, but the sauce was goopy. Something else: OK.

Possibly better than Papajin, but not great.

Penny's

Lunch. Vietnamese spring rolls: delicious. Gyoza: delicious. Hot pepper noodle w/ chicken: delicious. Lad nar w/ chicken: delicious.

Oysy

Dinner. Veggie tempura: good, very interesting veggies, including rice noodles! Shrimp tempura: good, maybe too-heavily breaded, enormous. Hamachi: delicious. Tuna: good, but kind of had the unbitable chewy strip in it like the sake had last time. Spicy tuna roll: just OK. Shrimp tempura roll: not that good after all.

Buffalo chicken sandwich, no blue cheese dressing: very good. House salad w/ ginger vinaigrette: fine. Jambalaya: terrible, very dry, no moisture whatsoever.

L. Woods

Small tomato, cucumber, and onion salad: enormous and very good. Wet ribs: very good. BBQ chicken: breast was very very dry, dark meat was better. Free crispy bread w/ pesto: not bad ... nice to get a freebie from the manager for first-timers though!
