St. Clair near Ohio(?). Spinach salad w/ warm bacon dressing (and mushroom and boiled egg): OK. 14-oz. dry-aged sirloin, medium-rare/medium: very good. Special veggie of the day (fresh corn off the cob with poblano peppers): delicious.
Ontario, near Columbus/Fairbanks. Dinner. Veggie samosa: very good, very hot. Garlic naan: very good. Chicken tikki masala: pretty good, spiciness built up. Aloo gobi: not bad.
Fast meal as always. Perfect for rushing to the AMC River East.
Wells, south of North. Dinner. Hamachi: very good, maybe weirdly dry. Tuna: very good, maybe weirdly dry. Egg rolls: revolting, pate-like stuffing. Kung pao chicken: good, but the sauce was goopy. Something else: OK.
Dinner. Veggie tempura: good, very interesting veggies, including rice noodles! Shrimp tempura: good, maybe too-heavily breaded, enormous. Hamachi: delicious. Tuna: good, but kind of had the unbitable chewy strip in it like the sake had last time. Spicy tuna roll: just OK. Shrimp tempura roll: not that good after all.
Buffalo chicken sandwich, no blue cheese dressing: very good. House salad w/ ginger vinaigrette: fine. Jambalaya: terrible, very dry, no moisture whatsoever.
Small tomato, cucumber, and onion salad: enormous and very good. Wet ribs: very good. BBQ chicken: breast was very very dry, dark meat was better. Free crispy bread w/ pesto: not bad ... nice to get a freebie from the manager for first-timers though!
