Brunch: chorizo breakfast burrito, off the "Specials" list (that is basically unchanged since they opened), Milwaukee and Wood. Very good, good chorizo flavor, too much egg, as expected. At $8.50, more expensive than most other things on their normal menu -- why? :-(

Trattoria Gianni

Halsted/North. Dinner: apple/pear salad, white fish fillet and tiramisu (not bad, not much coffee flavor). Very good food, the prices on the menu seemed fair, but the final bill was higher than I thought it needed to be. I guess I just wasn't paying attention?
